I bought a new car the other day, and I mean I LOATHE the car buying process. I hate the psychology and the tactics they use to just wear you down and separate you from your money. Anyway, I stayed there for a couple hours until they got it down to my budget and the sales guy said he would throw in some of the exterior features I wanted for beer.
So, yesterday on a crazy busy Saturday there here I come in with two 12 packs of Shiner with every sales guy watching me and ridiculously excited. I don’t think my sales guy expected me to actually do it, because he gave me a genuinely surprised look. I’m sure I made their day.
And now I have my appointment to get my new car worked on :D
Jesus this year has been crazy. I have never had so many things happen in one year. It’s been either something completely sad or terrifying mixed in with incredible and new opportunities. I mean, my freakin house almost caught on fire, I stayed with my grandpa until he passed away from brain cancer, another favorite relative of mine is not doing well health wise, I packed my family and precious animals up from my childhood home and helped them move away (I miss them always), I’ve moved three times this year and other things. Then, on a completely different side it’s been filled with so many other good changes and new experiences- new jobs, working on my first movie set, had some other entertainment related gigs that have been bigger, now looking for a place to live with my bf, and just so many things. I think I’m also physically in the best shape I’ve ever been in before- even more so than my skating days.
And I know other people in the world are dealing with living in wars and things way worse, but in my little privileged American world it’s been a lot.
